I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to you and your whole team for the diligent and quality representation received while facing my 2nd DUI charge. Despite the fact that the first conviction was 11 years ago, I still faced the terrifying reality of being treated as a repeat offender and possible time in the county jail. Conviction of this 2nd charge would have put a roadblock in my rapidly advancing professional career, professional licenses, etc.
From the initial meeting, on a holiday weekend to boot, I felt assured that I made the right choice in Robinson & Associates. The phone calls and e-mails were always returned promptly and in an assuring tone. I would be remiss if I didn’t specifically mention the quality of your paralegal staff as well. Melissa was a superstar to work with and is a sure asset to your firm.
On the day of the trial you continued with your reassurances that we would be in good shape and we were appearing before a great judge. To be honest, the whole trial process is a bit of a blur because of the extreme nervousness on my part; however, in the end the DUI charge was reduced to the lesser DWI and you successfully convinced the State’s Attorney to not oppose a finding of Probation Before Judgment (PBJ). Additionally, you convinced the judge that this charge was effectively my first offense and he did not consider my conviction from out of state 11 years ago. You had the arguments ready if need be but thankfully we didn’t need to go that route due to your diligence. The final result was a PBJ with unsupervised probation! That equates to a victory in my book and I can now rest more peacefully now that this is behind me.
When you hire Robinson & Associates you are hiring the best team in my book. Bruce, Matt, and Melissa are unmatched in their client service and knowledge. Rest assured you have a true advocate in me as well and I would not hesitate to recommend your firm to anyone.
